Rumors start circulating that Joe and his girlfriend of six years, Olivia Holzmacher, might be engaged after retired NFL star Adam Jones seemingly spills the beans on an episode of the Pat McAfee Show.
“I think life is great for Burrow,” Adam says on the show, adding, “Just got engaged, too.”

DeuxMoi has the scoop yet again, with an insider alleging, “Joe Burrow is dating Olivia Ponton. Not sure if it’s 100 percent serious, but something has definitely been going on over the past couple of months.”
December 2024
Per TMZ, Olivia P. reports a burglary at Joe’s Ohio home while he’s away in Texas for a game against the Dallas Cowboys, with official docs claiming that Olivia is “employed” by Joe, which is why she was at the house without him.
Two days later, Joe addresses the incident during a press conference, saying, “So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
Soon after that, a source for People claims that Olivia P. and Joe “have been hooking up since the early fall and are keeping it casual.”
May 2025
Joe and Olivia P. are spotted getting out of the same van together at F1 Miami, marking their first public appearance since the burglary incident.
Not long after, the maybe-couple is spotted leaving The Carlyle Hotel at the same time following the Met Gala.

Per a DeuxMoi source: “Burrow took Ponton to the players party. He kept her out of pictures but [Bengals wide receiver] Ja’Marr Chases girlfriend commented under [Ponton’s] post [that] it was nice meeting her but swiftly deleted the comments when fans called her out.”

A source for People reports that “Joe and Olivia were hanging out together in the same VIP section” at the Fanatics Super Bowl Party, adding, “Later in the night, the duo were dancing very closely with each other during the live performances.”

Joe sparks breakup rumors after he’s spotted leaving an Oscars after-party with Alix Earle, Stassie Karanikolaou, and Tate McRae…but just days later, he and Olivia shut those rumors down when they’re photographed leaving the Fanatics Flag Football Classic dinner hosted by Tom Brady on March 19 together.
Soon after that, Olivia shows up to cheer Joe on at the inaugural Fanatics Flag Football Classic on March 21.
